Reality TV

In the year that we are living in, reality television shows are the new and most dramatically shows aired on television. A reality show that I have heard of is “Keeping Up with The Kardashians”.  I have watched one or two episodes of it because my sister watches it all the time. I myself do not really like reality shows because the people or “actors” that are in the show act fake. I do not think that in reality families have so many problems in a day, or they can do so many activities in a day, or create so much drama because of such a little thing. If reality shows actually showed how people are without the cameras and the camera crew following them, and a script, reality shows would be so boring that nobody would watch them.
Since there is so much drama in those shows, people use that as the reason to watch them. I do not like anything about reality shows because there is no reality in them. If I compare my life to theirs, we have similar problems, but the difference is that I do not have a camera crew following me, and that I do not make a big deal about everything. I believe that these shows are harming our community because they give off a negative message to the younger population, and some reality shows have a lot of sexual content which they do not really show, but they imply it so people know what they mean. The people in the reality shoes are often good looking and well dressed and they also have a lot of money. So the people that watch those shows thing that their lives are supposed to be like the people from the reality shows.
Many people go to great extents to be like the people from their favorite reality shows, and also they do many life threatening procedures such as plastic surgery, stealing, and selling their body for money. For me, it is something I avoid because of the types of people that are on those shows. In the show, everyone has a problem most of the time, and when they do get along, something happens so that everyone is mad at each other again for no apparent reason.
Also, it these shows, the people that are in there are mostly celebrities, and they go on very expensive trips around the world whenever they want and they do not care how much money they spend on anything, for example in reality people usually spend from five to ten dollars on a shirt, in reality shows, people spend hundreds on a shirt, and then they fight over it, or but two of the same things just to please the people who are creating the conflict at that moment.

In conclusion, I myself do not like reality television shows because the people on those shows are fake. The people in those shows look as if they are never happy. The people are mostly good looking and rich and they are mostly celebrities, and they have problems that go out of hand. Sometimes they even hire detectives to find out stuff about their own families. I also do not like reality shows because they are hurting our community by showing the younger population how money anf fame are supposed to be the number one priority in their lives.
